Aloha friends, my name is Bolo Mikiela Rodrigues. I am a musician/artist/poet who is trying every day to do what is right for my soul, feelings about society, and enlightening one's self for harmony, the environment and what it truly means to do your part no matter how small you think it is. I am not a preacher or salesman, just an artist trying to do his part through my given talents and gifts to further positive works and awareness. Creating Ha, to me, means the celebration of life and all that surrounds and makes it up. The word HA in Hawaiian means the breath of life, and is used in the word HAwai' i. HA is the breath of life, WAI is the water that supports life, and I is one unity or under Akua (god) heaven.

Here is some art created in the hope of spreading awareness about our sea creatures and the importance of MALAMA (taking care) of our precious ocean. I am also working on dyes created from spirulina (blue-green algae) and squid ink, soy bean, and other types of organic, eco-friendly types of products.
